Your Fuzzy Friends was next and had a setup that made me want to curl up with them. With a couch on stage, covered in stuffed animals and Lee Grutman, the puppeteer, in a monster hat with Mono the unicorn on his hand and a pink fishnet glove on the other, I knew it was time to party. “All you have to do is dance,” Lee explained to the audience as he led into the first of his homoerotic laughter-filled songs, “Bananna Hammock.” “What is it you keep in your banana hammock? Is it plums? Is it plums?” he repeated until he reached the fiery peak of a high-pitched squeal. Although some seemed as if they didn’t even know what to think about it, everyone’s body was moving at one point or another. Mine couldn’t stop.
