$5 Video Series Week 8 - The Unicorn Song!

The 8th and final week of the Your Fuzzy Friends/Shutter 16 Magazine $5 Video Series brings us the incredibly ridiculous track "The Unicorn Song." This time we may have cheated a bit enlisting the services of Emmy Award winning video producer and documentarian Brandon Arnold. Brandon is also a fellow musician and plays in some really fantastic bands in Atlanta, GA. “The Unicorn Song” is chock full of public domain goodness featuring a dancing horse, outer space crazies, grizzly fairy tale creatures, and a special guest appearance by Little Miss Muffet and her eight legged friend. Also, this is the only video in which Your Fuzzy Friends show their goofy faces! So, be afraid…be very afraid!

$5 Video Series Week 7 - Gay Little Hipster!

Week 7 of the Your Fuzzy Friends/Shutter 16 Magazine $5 video series gives us "Gay Little Hipster!" The song is chock full of references to PBR, mustaches, indie rock, and scarves! Made by the incredibly talented musician Charlotte musician Nathan Bishop, the video proudly features boxing kitties, spinning acrobats, body builders, and so much more in a whirling, frenzied kaleidoscope of color and motion. Nathan guarantees it will induce a "glorious seizure." So, watch at your own risk!

$5 Video Series Week 6 - Mixed Tapes & 45s!

Pirates, legos, and a quest for outer space permeate Week 6 of the Your Fuzzy Friends/Shutter 16 Magazine $5 Video Series! This time around song is “Mixed Tapes and 45s!” We answered the fiverr.com post I Will Make This Star Wars Lego Personalized X-Mas Holiday Greeting Video. On top of which, we threw in a hand drawn video by band friend Chris Wilkes, a few creative commons cartoons, and a great old shaving commercial from the public domain archives! Week 5 of the Your Fuzzy Friends/Shutter 16 Magazine $5 Video Series brings us G.I.R.L.N.E.R.D.! This time we answered the fiverr.com post I Will Dance Badly As A Unicorn In A Psychedelic Rainbow Video. On top of which, we threw in some creative commons videos, a couple of things from the public domain archives, and voila – a video celebrating the very human, very beautiful nature of the female dork in all her splendiferous glory! The creative commons videos are courtesy of Shishi Yamazaki (dancing girl created for a Neo Cos Exhibit), LaPendeja (Faun Action), and Kigurumi (Rad Friends unite)! Also, rapper/singer (and self proclaimed girl nerd) Blak Angel lends us a hand!Be sure to listen for her!

$5 Video Series - Week 4 - Mongoloid!

Week 4 of the Your Fuzzy Friends/Shutter 16 Magazine $5 Video Series gives us Mongoloid! Your Fuzzy Friends covered this classic Devo track live for George & Buck's 5th Annual Halloween Fiasco at the World Famous Milestone Club and decided to record it specifically for use as a $5 video! This time the video was created by comedian Tom Stover aka The Southern Madman and boy is it creepy. Using nothing but old movie footage from the public domain film archives in San Francisco, the Southern Madman somehow made a video full of strange traditional peasant dances, child abductions, and an over-zealous man making unwanted sexual advances in a darkened movie theater. Um...thanks Tom!

Week 3 of the Your Fuzzy Friends/Shutter 16 Magazine $5 Video Series brings us "Mathletes!" This time we booked the Fiverr gig: I will make an anime music video amv for you for $5! What we got is sheer awesome. Boy meets girl. Boy gets girl. Before you know it, everyone is floating in outer space.

$5 Video Series - Week 2 - Banana Hammock!!

It’s the second week of the Your Fuzzy Friends/Shutter16.com $5 Video Series and this time we have a hilarious video for “Banana Hammock!” This time, it’s totally crazy! Semi-naked men in animal masks prowling around on a beach in Turkey! A dance off between a large group people in furry animal costumes! Large men dancing in the streets! This time we responded to the fiverr.com listing - I Will Make A Montage Footage Video For $5! We are not sure where they found this delightfully strange footage, we are just happy they did!

The Your Fuzzy Friends $5 Video Series!!

Your Fuzzy Friends is pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Shutter16 Magazine to launch the Your Fuzzy Friends $5 Video Series! For 8 weeks in a row, starting Wednesday November 7th, Shutter16.com will debut a new video from Your Fuzzy Friends that was made for a mere $5! How is this possible? Well, Your Fuzzy Friends have been spending hours upon hours scouring the listings on Fiverr.com (a website where people post what they are willing to do for $5) and have found some truly hilarious, bizarre, and downright amazing artists willing to sell their wares for a measly five spot! 8 weeks. 8 goofy songs. 8 unique videos. Tune in every Wednesday in November and December to see what diabolical monstrosity comes next!

We are kicking things off with a hilarious video for the song "Don't Touch My Mustache!" Video was made for $5 by wonderful visionary Christopher Olson from Springfield, Missouri!
